studies and trials

There are quite a few sources for information on vision trials, but i am going to list just a few here.  

ClinicalTrials.gov provides patients, their family members, and the public with easy and free access to information on clinical studies for a wide range of diseases and conditions.

The NIH  The National Eye Institute:   Under research at NEI,  click on Clinical Studies to find studies that are now taking place as well as studies that will be asking for new subjects for the trials.
